Manager and Principal Environmental Engineer
Mark is an environmental engineer with over 15 years experience in New Zealand and Europe, working for various contaminated land and engineering consultants, the Environment Agency (UK) and numerous District and City Councils throughout New Zealand. Mark has a Batchelor of Science degree in Applied Environmental Geology and a Masters in Science degree in Contaminated Land Management and is registered as a Suitably Qualified Environmental Practioner (SQEP).
His extensive experience, practical knowledge and education throughout the different areas of contaminated land gives Mark a unique understanding of contaminated land and the complexities of managing it on a day to day basis. In addition Mark has extensive experience and practical knowledge of wastewater management and geological and geo-morphological issues throughout Marlborough and Tasman.
He is an accredited engineer who has assessed hundreds of sites throughout the Marlborough Sounds designing, practical and cost effective solutions for wastewater applications.
Principal Environmental Engineer
Fleur Tiernan is a senior environmental scientist and engineer with over 10 years experience in New Zealand and Europe working for a number of regulatory environmental bodies including Marlborough District Council, Auckland Regional Council and the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) and the Environment Agency (UK). In addition she has worked for various environmental consultancies in New Zealand.
Fleur holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, a Research Masters in freshwater ecology and a Masters in Science degree in Environmental Engineering. In addition to having a sound understanding of regulatory regimes Fleur also has practical experience in monitoring and reporting on freshwater, coastal and air environments.
Fleur's extensive regulatory and consultancy experience, practical knowledge and education give Fleur a unique understanding when assessing environmental effects from different activities allowing her to manage them in a cost effective, practical and sustainable manner.
